After many years of Wichai and Sirinapa working with unprivileged children who live in rural and remote areas of Thailand, they found that there are still many underprivileged children who lack educational opportunities and food to survive due to living in extreme poverty.

Moreover, the environment the children face every day causes them to be forced into labour and unknowingly get involved in the cycle of drugs/vices. This is a very worrying situation, especially for abandoned children, orphans and extremely poor children.

Wichai and Sirinapa, see that the solution is providing unprivileged children with a friendly environment, getting them an education, cultivating their morality and ethics, and supporting their talents to shine. So they established the Shining Orphanage to meet these requirements.
